In the first phase, Sun World Cat Ba officially put into operation the three-wire cable car from Cat Hai to Phu Long, with a total length of 3,955m, capacity of 4,500 passenger per hour, including 60 cabins with a capacity of 30 passenger per cabin, in order to quickly bring tourists from Cat Hai Island to the Cai Vieng wharf area on Cat Ba Island.
In particular, the Cat Hai – Phu Long cable car has a cable tower of 214.8 m high, which has been recognized by the Guinness World Organization as World’s tallest cable car tower.
